TERMS & CONDITIONS .
1. Collaboration on an eye-level
Our mediations are based on mutual trust, confidentiality, and voluntariness. Participation is voluntary for all parties and can be terminated at any time. We believe that genuine solutions can only be achieved when all parties are heard – openly, respectfully, and with a willingness to reach an understanding.
2. Role of the mediator
As a neutral third party, I guide the participants through the process. I structure the discussions, ensure fairness, and support the search for sustainable solutions. I don't make decisions and don't represent any party. The goal is for you to reach sustainable agreements together – in your own way, at your own pace.
3. Confidentiality
Everything discussed during the mediation will remain between us. I guarantee absolute confidentiality and expect the same from you. This applies to all content, documents, and findings from the process. An exception is made only if there is a legal obligation to disclose information or if there is a risk to life.
4. Costs & Services
The fee is CHF 270 per hour, plus 25% for administrative costs and any expenses (e.g., travel time, room rental, translation). This includes preparation, implementation, follow-up, and simple minutes or summaries.
Online mediations via Zoom or comparable platforms are charged at the same hourly rate. A technical failure beyond our control does not release you from the obligation to pay.
Co-mediation can be offered upon request and by prior agreement. The same conditions apply to the second professional involved in co-mediation.
Upon request, we will be happy to provide a cost estimate or an individual offer.
5. Cancellation Policy
Appointments can be canceled free of charge up to 48 hours before the scheduled appointment. Cancellations after this time or no-shows will be charged at the full hourly rate, including surcharges and expenses.
6. Distinction from legal advice
Mediation is not a substitute for legal advice. I provide information on legal aspects without representing either party. If necessary, I recommend consulting a professional. Our goal is to jointly develop viable and fair solutions – even beyond purely legal positions.
A legal disclaimer
The mediation can be conducted in German, French, or English, depending on the parties' preference. Bilingual mediations (e.g., German/French) are possible and will incur a 25% surcharge on the fee.
8. Responsibility & Liability
We conduct mediation with the utmost care. However, the responsibility for the agreements reached lies with the parties themselves. Mediation is a voluntary process. I assume no liability for the results or consequences resulting from them.
9. Conclusion & Agreements
At the end of a mediation, we will record the jointly developed solutions in writing – as an agreement, letter of intent, or legally binding contract, depending on your needs and the context. We will support you in drafting them in clear language.
These terms and conditions apply to all mediations conducted through Röstigraben Mediation. By scheduling an appointment or signing a mediation agreement, you agree to them.

Records & Artificial Intelligence
1. Artificial Intelligence (AI)
To support the preparation and follow-up of mediation processes, I reserve the right to use AI-based tools for text processing, analysis, and structuring of information – for example, to clarify topics or to formulate meeting notes and summaries.
No confidential content is automatically saved or shared with third parties. The tools used are subject to applicable data protection guidelines.
I never use AI to develop solutions, decisions, or interventions within mediation. The responsibility for the process, communication, and methodological design lies entirely with me as the mediator.
2. Recordings (audio/video)
Mediation sessions are generally not recorded. Should there be a desire or need to use an audio or video recording for internal reflection or documentation in a specific context,
-
this is communicated transparently in advance,
-
discussed with all parties involved and
-
only carried out with the verbal consent of all parties.
Consent can be revoked at any time. In such a case, all recordings will be deleted immediately.
